It was a lovely sunny day at Leiston to also mark Lee’s last day on the project after three years!

He was greeted by Louise Craigie, Head of Art and Michael Offord from the Harwich Festival, for the launch of a Galloper inspired art competition for pupils.  Those entering will get the chance to work with a local artist and participate in a renewable energy focused STEM workshop. Today @galloperwindfarm we took part in #timetotal Today @galloperwindfarm we took part in #timetotalkday which is an initiative set up by @timetochangecampaign to end the stigma around mental health. The team listened to a very informative talk on mental health by Harry Bliss from @championhealthltd and then enjoyed some pizza together whilst doing fun activities and taking part in a ‘pub quiz’. Together we’ll end mental health stigma ❤️

Sean Chenery, O&M Manager for Galloper Wind Farm, Sean Chenery, O&M Manager for Galloper Wind Farm, presented an award at the Tendring Blue Ribbon Awards last week. The new award for Sustainability and Environment was sponsored by Galloper Wind Farm and was awarded to Barn Farm Drinks of Wix Road, Bradfield. @barnfarmdrinks have worked hard to produce their own electricity through solar panels and from the fruit press waste. Huge welcome to Galloper’s first three apprentic Huge welcome to Galloper’s first three apprentices. Rosie Underhill from Essex, and Thomas Bryant and Eve Dupuy from Suffolk were chosen for the brand new apprenticeship scheme from more than 70 applicants.
